If the asset already exists shore-side, the shore-side version will be synced to the ship. You will be notified that your requested has been received and added to the queue.
If the asset does not exist shore-side, the system will give you the opportunity to create it locally. This change will then be synced to shore-side.
Creating TV Shows
To create TV shows individually, follow the steps below.
Choose Entertainment > TV > Shows > Create.
Select the show's language from the dropdown menu.
Enter the show's title under Name*.
Select the show's genre.
Click the Create button.
If the TV show has already been created shore-side, the shore-side version will be synced to the ship. You will be notified that your requested has been received and added to the queue.
If the TV show does not exist shore-side, the system will give you the opportunity to create it locally. This change will then be synced to shore-side.
Select the rating from the dropdown menu.
Check Publish for the show to be visible to guests. (Note: Both the show and the genre have to be published for it to be visible to guests.)
Check Featured if this is relevant to the TV show.
Type the description of the movie into the Description box.
Upload the TV show's cover using the Media Asset feature.
Click the Create button.
Creating Live TV
To create live TV assets individually, follow the steps below.
Choose Entertainment > TV > Live TV > Create.
Enter the show's title under Name*.
Enter the link to the live TV under Link.
Select the genre from the dropdown menus.
Click the Create button.
If the live TV show has already been created shore-side, the shore-side version will be synced to the ship. You will be notified that your requested has been received and added to the queue.
If the live TV show does not exist shore-side, the system will give you the opportunity to create it locally. This change will then be synced to shore-side.
Check Publish for the live TV to be visible to guests. (Note: Both the live TV asset and the genre have to be published for it to be visible to guests.)
Check Crew Only if the asset is exclusively for the crew.
Type the description of the live TV into the Description box.
Upload the live TV's cover/image using the Media Asset feature.
Click the Create button.
Creating Movies
To create movies individually, follow the steps below.
Choose Entertainment > Movies > Create.
Select the movie's language from the dropdown menu.
Enter the movie's title under Name*.
Select the movie's genre from the dropdown menu.
Click the Create button.
If the movie has already been created shore-side, the shore-side version will be synced to the ship. You will be notified that your requested has been received and added to the queue.
If the movie does not exist shore-side, the system will give you the opportunity to create it locally. This change will then be synced to shore-side.
Enter the link to the movie under Link.
Add the movie's length, year of release, rating, directors, and actors.
Check Publish for the movie to be visible to guests. (Note: Both the movie and the genre have to be published for it to be visible to guests.)
Check Featured if this is relevant to the movie.
Type the description of the movie into the Description box.
Upload the movie cover using the Media Asset feature.
Click the Create button.
Creating Music
To create music assets individually, follow the steps below.
Choose Entertainment > Music > Music > Create.
Enter the track's title under Name*.
[Optional] Select the track's genre from the dropdown menu.
Click the Create button.
If the music has already been created shore-side, the shore-side version will be synced to the ship. You will be notified that your requested has been received and added to the queue.
If the music does not exist shore-side, the system will give you the opportunity to create it locally. This change will then be synced to shore-side.
Enter the track's length and artists.
Check Publish for the track to be visible to guests. (Note: Both the track and the genre have to be published for it to be visible to guests.)
Check Featured if this is relevant to the music.
Select the track's album from the dropdown menu. (Note: Album needs to already have been created.)
Type the description of the track into the Description box.
Upload any relevant media using the Media Asset feature.
